Forged steel connecting rods.

Supplied as a set of five rods for the T5 versions of these cars. These rods will handle higher boost than that able to be maintained by a standard KKK turbocharger and are recommended, indeed essential, where a larger Garrett GT28/30 or a Mitsubishi TDO5 has replaced that original installation. We would suggest that these be considered also where the larger KKK turbo from the Ford Focus RS is fitted. They are specced to reduce the compression ratio of a standard engine and software should be purpose written to ensure the overall integrity of the engine and outputs envisaged.
