Lightened steel single mass flywheel.

This one piece, lightened flywheel is CNC machined from forged, pre hardened chrome molly steel billet and balanced individually in a final process to elimate any possibility of failure in high revving applications. It is designed to replace the standard dual mass component, it does not have a separate ring gear like some US sourced competative offerings. It weighs just 6.75kg. The standard Volvo dual mass flywheel weighs about 11.35kg., depending on which precise version is fitted in your car's M66 gearbox. The pins are usually supplied as 6mm, however we can supply other locating pins to suit at no extra cost to locate Spec and other aftermarket clutch kits. These flywheels are used by the Kpax team in their racing C30s together with our plate type limited slip diffs and by Polestar in their C30AWD cars. Plate type limited slip differential that replaces the standard 'open' unit in a Volvo M66 6 speed manual gearbox generally found in later cars. This diff. can be supplied in various configurations depending on the use to which your car is being put. It will maintain drive even if one driven wheel is not in contact with the ground, unlike the Quaife type diff. which looses drive if either driven wheel is not in contact with the ground. Quaife torque biasing limited slip differential for Volvo M66 6 speed manual gearbox. This diff. will fit the 6 speed gearbox in all later P2 and subsequent cars and all later small Focus platform derived T5 cars with that same gearbox.
